So, who are these courageous men and women we honor, praise, and pray for daily?
They are our 21st Century soldiers, unconventional warriors fighting unconventional wars now, our sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, friends and neighbors, and the great hope of our time, putting their lives on the line for all who struggle for Freedom and for you and I who cherish it.
Write to them. Send a card or letter to show your support.
If you see a soldier in a restaurant, pick up his tab. If you see one in a grocery store, purchase those groceries for him.
Make a place at your table for one or more for Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas.
Visit the wounded in hospitals. Bring lots of gifts, smiles, encouragement, and, yes, give every one you meet a big ol' hug.
